Here are two examples:
Your Ceremony is at a Church. Cocktails are at the venue in the evening
Our Ceremony musicians will continues to play until all your guests have left the church. Then they simply go home. The Jazz Trio will be set up ready to play for cocktails without being on the clock between your ceremony and cocktails.
Your ceremony is at the same venue as your reception
Let’s say your Ceremony is in Room A and Cocktails are in Room B.
Once your ceremony is completed our classical musicians continues to play until all your guests have left the room.
The Jazz Trio will already be set up for cocktails in Room B.
Even if some of your guests are still lingering in Room A,
your cocktails will start as soon as your guests enter Room B.
This format will create a very smooth transition between ceremony and cocktails.
With DRM, you will have experts in Ceremony Music and experts in Reception music for your Chicago wedding.
Lower quality music companies use the same musicians for both.
Here’s how THEY do it:
They use the Sax player and Piano player from their dance Band to play flute and Piano. They know about 10 songs that they can get through. They are not classically trained. We offer 6 classically trained ensembles to choose from with an extensive repertore list.
When the Chicago ceremony is completed they must stop playing ASAP, break down their equipment, carry it through all your guests hit your Aunt in the head while your guests walk into cocktail area in total silence. They watch as the musicians who played for your ceremony scramble to set up for cocktails. How does that sound?
Using separate musicians for your Ceremony and Reception will give you and
your guests the best music possible for your Chicago wedding.
