Chicago Wedding Ceremony Music
-
Average Chicago Wedding Bands:
Use the Same Musicians for the Ceremony and Reception. They leave the ceremony early and set up late for cocktails.
-
David Rothstein Music:
We use experts in Classical music for your Wedding Ceremony and Experts in Dance Music for your Wedding Reception. There will be no delay between the end of your wedding ceremony and the start of your cocktail hour.
Ceremony Ensemble Comparison Video
Watch our narrated, helpful video descriptions of our 6 Chicago Wedding Ceremony ensembles. Each ceremony ensemble performs the exact same 15 seconds of music so you can compare them quickly and easily.
Our wedding ceremony musicians are separate from our wedding reception musicians. This will help the flow of your wedding transitioning from your ceremony to your cocktails. You'll also work with experts in classical music for your ceremony as well as experts in reception music for cocktails, dinner and dancing.

Why does DRM use separate musicians for the wedding ceremony?

Sections of the Wedding Ceremony:
- Prelude - Music begins as your guests enter the ceremony area prior to the start of the actual service.
- Processional - 1 Song for the Bridal Party, 1 Song for the Bride.
- Service - This includes music during the lighting of the unity candle, presentation of flowers, concert pieces and any additional music during the body of the ceremony service.
