Can we see you live?
There will be many opportunities to see the band live at upcoming events. Most clients have booked us based on the recent live videos on our website. It is as realistic as possible and shows a variety of styles. For the privacy of our clients, we invite guests with discretion.
What size ensembles do you offer?
7 Ceremony Ensembles, Jazz Trio and 7-11 Piece Orchestra
Where and when do you have meetings?
Meetings are usually scheduled on weekday afternoons, evenings or weekend mornings or afternoons. They are always held at my home office, 1948 W. Fletcher St., located at Belmont and Damen in Chicago, with easy street parking. For out-of-state clients we can schedule a virtual meeting online.
What do I get after I sign a contract with you?
You will get our DRM Welcome Packet, which includes:
A copy of the signed contract, a template of your wedding schedule, the current playlist for you to review, and the Tell Us More About You form. We will also establish a folder to keep track of all your emails.
Are you willing to learn new songs?
Yes, we will learn nearly any song you request. We have a full time arranger on staff to accommodate all your specific needs. We encourage you to be as creative and personal as you like. Even if we never play your special request again, we’re happy to learn it for you free of charge. If it’s important to you, it’s important to us.
What are your rates and payment terms?
By filling out the short inquiry form found on every page of our website, you will receive our complete pricing information packet instantly in your inbox. Discounts are given for Friday and Sunday Weddings, Off Season (January — April) and non-profit organizations.
We require a 35% deposit to reserve your date. The remaining balance will be due during the week prior to your event.
MasterCard, Visa, AmEx and Personal Checks are accepted.
Do you have flexibility with your pricing?
Yes, we offer terrific discounts for Friday, Sunday, and events held January through April. There may be specific dates where we may have more flexibility.
How long have you been in business?
David Rothstein Music, Inc was established in 2000 and has performed at over 4,000 spectacular events!
David has been performing professionally since 1986.
Do you provide your own Sound System?
Yes, we have two state-of-the-art sound systems to accommodate a variety of venues. The sound system is set up and tested two hours prior to the start of your event.
Professional sound staff will monitor the sound throughout your event to make sure it is perfect.
Do you provide an Emcee?
Yes, we will take care of all announcements and introductions throughout your event.
We also will help coordinate your vendors, so you can concentrate on your guests.
Do you provide a Keyboard?
Yes, if your venue does not provide a piano, we will bring a keyboard for your Ceremony or Reception free of charge.
