We're excited to let you know about a wonderful way to share a part your big day with those who would REALLY appreciate it.
After your wedding, instead of throwing out your floral arrangements or begging your guests to take them home, we will deliver them to the nearest nursing home or women's shelter.
This would be an easy way to do something special as you start your new life together. Picture the huge smiles on the faces of the senior citizens that will enjoy your beautiful flowers for several days after your wedding.
Our first wedding with the program was on June 27th, 2008 at the Westin Hotel in Itasca. The bride and groom donated 27 floral arrangements to the Lexington Assisted Living Facility.
As of September 2011, our couples have donated over 3,000 arrangements to nursing homes and Women/Children's Shelters throughout the Chicago Area!
MY INSPIRATION TO START SHARE YOUR LOVE
These are my grandparents Hy and Rebecca who were married 71 years. They lived to 94 and 91. He made her breakfast in bed everyday and always brought her flowers from their garden. After they passed away I want to create something as memorial to their love. That was my inspiration to start my Share Your Love Program.
Each winter they would drive about 6 miles an hour from Freeport, IL down to Clearwater Beach, FL in their 1972 Oldsmobile with their left turn signal turned on from about Nashville on south. They always stayed at the same hotels and restaurants and were known by everyone along the way.
He went to med school at age 15 and was a doctor in the army for 20 years. She was an amazing poet and actually went to high school with Dear Abby and Ann Landers. They were an amazing couple. While he was on his death bed, she read her poetry to him at his request , especially the poetry she had written about their lives together. They were inseparable.
This is a FREE program for everyone involved.
All we need is your permission!

After the wedding, I will round up all the flowers
and load them into my car.
Then that night or the next morning, I drop off the flowers to one of several Nursing Homes, Hospitals or Women/Children's Shelters in the Chicagoland area.
The Residents LOVE getting the flowers.
It makes them feel like they were a part of the wedding too!

Here's a letter from Denise Conant,

Share Your Love was featured on

Here's a quote from the letter I got back from
Delnor Hospital where we donated flowers recently.

Please let me know if you have any questions or if you’d like to include this for your wedding!
I hope you consider including "Share Your Love" program for YOUR Wedding!
Best Wishes,

Real Stories of Caring
Before we had played one note, a little boy about 8 years old came racing over to the bandstand. We could tell he was really excited about something.
He said his all time most favorite song was Dynamite! "Can You PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE play it for me?" I said "Sure Aiden you got it little buddy" He jumped up in the air about three times then raced back to his parents.
Once the full band started he was ready to hear his song! When we found the perfect time to play it, I went over and told him we were going to play his song next. He was as excited as Christmas Eve.
To make it extra special for him, we announced that Aiden was going to tell everybody the name of the next song. He yelled on the mic. "DYNAMITE!!"
We started playing the song. He was doing his best little kid dance. Halfway through the song Aiden was invited to join us up on stage and sing along with the band.
The singers made him feel at home and he was thrilled! For those 5 minutes Aiden was a rock star!

Everything for YOUR Wedding?

Mike and Julie love watching Football games together. Even though she's a New York Giants fan and Mike's a Chicgao Bears fan, they and their friends love to support each other's teams. For their special gift, we bought them an authentic NFL Bears helmet. All their guests signed it and we played "Bear Down Chicago Bears". One of their guests even wore the helmet during a Bon Jovi song. So much fun!!
