This is technical information for the venues about the power and stage size requirements of our orchestra. The complete sound system will be set up and test approximately 1-2 hours prior to the opening of the doors.
All microphones for the Emcee, vocalists and horns are wireless. As a result, all toasts or announcements can be made from anywhere in the room.
We can also provide a small sound system for your ceremony. Please let us know if your ceremony is in the same room as your dinner. If so, this will require setting up the complete sound system during the cocktail hour. We do this all the time, it just requires a little extra prep work.
We will use the venue's loading dock or their usual procedure for loading equipment. After unloading our equipment, the van will be moved to the nearest parking lot if required. The sound staff will be respectful or the venue's policies and helpful in working with their staff.
David Rothstein Music carries a $1 Million liability insurance policy that will include your specific venue as the certificate holder.
Both stage plots should have a 5' diameter from both front corners of stage for speaker stands. This will assure that there is plenty of room for easy passage by the stage.

Chosen from 17 Bands in the U.S!
Vanessa's Father reviewed 17 Bands for his daughter's wedding on 6.18.11 in Beaver Creek, Colorado.
After looking at bands for over two months in New York, Miami, Dallas, Phoenix, San Francisco and Denver, he chose our band for their wedding.
He flew the entire 10-Piece Orchestra to Beaver Creek, CO for their wedding. We've also traveled to Omaha for Senator Ben Nelson for his daughter's wedding as well as many other locations throughout the nation. In 2011, we also performed in Des Moines, Green Bay, Racine and St. Joesph Michigan.
Their Wedding Planner said it was the BEST BAND she'd ever heard!!
Here's Their Review:
"My father-in-law found David Rothstein on-line and flew them out to our wedding in Beaver Creek, CO sight unseen. They could not have done a better job! David took time to get to know my wife and I via email and phone conversations so that they knew what kind of music we liked and wanted the band to play.
They did a great job of emceeing the night and even added a special Colorado mountain touch by bringing a ski helmet to the reception for all of our guest to sign (my wife and I are big skiers). The band also had no problem learning the relatively obscure songs we picked for our first dance, the father-daughter dance, and the mother son dance.
We have had multiple guests tell us after the wedding that it was the best wedding band they had ever heard."

Shelia and Mike were Big Baseball Fans. Mike is actually a baseball umpire. For their gift we bought three major league baseball bases and had all their guests sign them.
Since there were 340 guests each of the bases were covered with signatures from everybody. Mike's umpire buddies really had some fun with them!
It was a real Homerun!!
