Out of State Weddings
David Rothstein Music enjoys a national reputation as one of the finest music companies in the country. As a result of this and our top rankings on Google, we have been in demand for weddings outside of Chicago. We make using us for your out of state wedding easy, organized and always worth the cost.
For example, in October of 2006 we were flown to Omaha Nebraska for the wedding of Senator Ben Nelson's daughter. We were told by the venue, Joslyn Art Museum, that we were the best band they've ever heard and also the easiest to work with. In September 2007, we played a wedding St. Louis. They even took us to the Cubs-Cardinals game the next day!

How we establish the price quote for travel expenses:
- STEP 1: We determine the mileage to your city from Chicago.
- STEP 2: We establish the best method to get there (Flying or Driving)
- STEP 3: We get the best airfare rates or estimated driving expenses.
- STEP 4: We can get estimates for renting any sound equipment. We can also make all arrangements for delivery and pick up of the rented PA.
You would be responsible for the following travel expenses:
- Round trip airfare or driving costs
- Hotel for all musicians and sound personnel
- Ground transportation to and from airport, hotel and venue.
- Lunch and Dinner for day of performance.
We work with you to create a detailed itinerary including:
- Flight information from Chicago to your city
- Ground Transportation details from the airport to our hotel.
- Complete Hotel Information including room assignments.
- Complete Venue information and contact names
- Ground Transportation back to hotel.
- Ground Transportation to Airport.
- Flight information from your city to Chicago.

11:00am Band arrives at Hotel. David will meet you in lobby and see if your rooms are ready. If not, luggage will be stored in David's room or holding area at front desk.
Band goes to lunch at Hotel or nearby place.
2:30pm Jazz Trio (David, Bobby and Mark meet in lobby) Mark drives trio to venue- 5 minutes away from hotel.
3:30pm-5:30pm Jazz Trio play Cocktails in separate room from Dinner/Dancing.
4:15pm Remaining Musicians (John, Alison, Kim, Paul, Ivo, Lou, Greg and Scott) meet in lobby. Dressed for wedding.
4:30pm Hotel Town car takes Greg, Paul, Scott and Ivo to Venue
4:45pm Hotel Town Car comes back and picks up John, Alison, Lou and Kim takes to venue.
5:00pm All Musicians arrive at Venue for quick sound check.
5:30pm 11-Piece Orchestra Begins
10:00pm End of Wedding
10:20pm Town Car takes band back to Hotel
10:30-45pm Band arrives back at Hotel.
Sunday September 15th, 2007:
Breakfast at Hotel anytime from 8:00-12:00pm
$7.95 Breakfast Buffet11:00am Band meets in Lobby and check out of Hotel. Load all luggage into Mark O'Connor's car. He will be driving his car to the game. This way we can get the luggage from his car after the game and take the train directly to the Airport instead of leaving 45 minutes earlier and having to go back to the hotel, get the luggage and then go back to the airport.
11:30pm walk to nearby Metro link Train Station
David buys all day passes for musicians.12:07pm Band takes Metro link train (TO EMERSON PARK)
12:28pm Band Arrives at Busch Stadium
1:15pm Game Starts
4:54pm Band takes Metro link Train directly to airport.
5:26pm Band Arrives at Airport
6:50pm Flight back to Chicago (MID-WAY)
