Share Your Love

Learn More About Our Flower Donation Program called "Share Your Love".

"Another great reason to book with them is the Share Your Love flower donation program. All of our flowers went to a rehabilitation center the next day.
So glad they could continue bringing smiles to new faces even after the wedding!
- Ginny and Dave B.

We’re excited to let you know about a wonderful way to share a part of your big day with those who would really appreciate it. After your wedding, instead of throwing out your floral arrangements or begging your guests to take them home, we will deliver them on your behalf to a nursing home. This is an easy way to do something special as you start your new life together. Picture the huge smiles on the faces of the senior citizens who will enjoy your beautiful flowers for several days after your wedding. Since 2008, our couples have donated over 12,000 arrangements through our “Share Your Love” program!

“Thanks so much for delivering the beautiful flowers from the wedding. As you witnessed, our residents were very enthusiastic about getting them. Please thank the bride and groom for thinking of them. It really meant a lot to each of the seniors!”

– Janette Mohlman, Director Greenview Nursing Home Chicago

This is Georgia. She was 97 years old and was so excited to get the beautiful flowers from Connie and Jay she wanted to thank them! There are lots of Senior Citizens and People in Homeless shelters that would LOVE to receive your flowers the next day!

How it Works

David will bring large containers for the flowers.

After the wedding, he loads your flowers into his car.

The next morning, David will drop off the flowers to the nursing home.

How to Get Involved

Email that you’d like to donate your wedding flowers. We even provide this service for weddings we don’t even play as well as when we perform out of state!

Tell your florist that you’re planning on donating your flowers, but will still need the glassware to be picked up.

The next morning, David and his volunteers will drop the flowers off to the nursing home, homeless shelter or facility you would like them to donated to.

My Grandparents Are My Inspiration

Hy and Rebecca were married 71 years. They lived to 94 and 91. He made her breakfast in bed everyday and always brought her a flower from their garden. After they passed away I wanted to create something as a memorial to their never ending love for each other.

Each winter they would drive about 6 miles an hour from Freeport, IL down to Clearwater Beach, FL in their 1972 Oldsmobile with their left turn signal turned on from about Nashville on south. They always stayed at the same hotels and restaurants and were known by everyone along the way.

He went to University of Nebraska at age 15, became a doctor at 22 and was an army doctor for 30 years. She was an amazing poet and actually went to high school with Dear Abby and Ann Landers in Sioux City, Iowa. While he was on his death bed, she read her poetry to him at his request, especially the poetry she had written about their lives together. They were inseparable.

How much they love the Flowers?

The residents will love getting the beautiful flowers from your wedding.

They feel like they were a part of your big day too! Thanks for your generosity!
