After graduating school with degrees in Creative Writing and Filmmaking, Matt Buckman took a job in advertising where he met his future partner, Lori Roche. Matt found himself filming the weddings of his co-workers, so he and Lori decided to make wedding filmmaking their new career. They quit their jobs and I Do Films was born. With Matt’s creative eye and Lori’s creative mind, I Do Films was an instant success. By their second year in business, they were already filming nearly 50 weddings per year and had added three other staff members. Today, I Do Films works all over the world shooting nearly 60 weddings per year with studios in both Chicago and Arizona and have expanded into commercial work during the wedding off-season.
