CHICAGO Wedding
DINNER MusIc

What Happens During
Your Wedding Dinner?

For dinner/reception our emcee was great! He accommodated last minute changes with introductions and got the guests excited. And the band even worked with my MOHs to incorporate music into their speech, which was a total surprise and absolutely hilarious. The reception was a blast!!

How it Works:

Dinner starts as soon as the doors to the ballroom are opened and your guests enter, not when food is served. It lasts one-and-a-half to two hours depending on the number of guests. It’s the “business” of your wedding.

The Dinner Schedule Includes:

  • Introductions of Bridal Party and Bride + Groom.
  • Toasts
  • Blessing over the meal
  • Cake Cutting
  • First Dance, Father/Daughter, Mother/Son Dances and Short Dance Set For Guests
    (Dancing Between Courses Schedule Only)

Biggest Factors That Will
Make Your Dinner Successful

  1. Getting all the guests inside the room quickly and the bridal party lined up.
  2. The amount and length of toasts.
  3. The speed of the food service.
  4. Creating a clear schedule that all your vendors agree to.
  5. MC’s ability to understand your schedule and work with all your vendors.

Recommend Ensembles:

Jazz Trio (Piano, Bass and Sax) or Solo Piano
8 or 11 Piece Orchestra (Dancing Between Courses)
All Ensembles Include MC, DJ and Full Sound System.

Imagine a stroling violinist
performing AT each table

When the Jazz Trio or 8-11 Piece Orchestra takes a break during dinner, our brilliant violinist will stroll from table to table playing beautiful love songs, classical and ethnic music while your guests enjoy their main course.

Is Dancing Between Courses
the Right Schedule for Your Wedding?

Why is a Separate MC a Big Advantage?

David are experts at handling your announcements and introductions and will work with you to create your perfect wedding schedule. He will work alongside your vendors to make sure all announcements for your wedding are taken care of. He’ll be available throughout the night to help you. Other bandleaders are also the vocalist, sax player or drummer. They have to stay on stage and can’t work with you and your vendors. You’ll get better photos, videos, and service. Most importantly, you can relax and enjoy your wedding! The band is there to play David will take care of everything else.

Hiring David Rothstein Music was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding day. They not only met but exceeded our expectations, and we're still receiving compliments from our guests about how amazing they were.!
