Dinner is much more than the meal itself. It begins as soon as the doors open and includes introductions, cake cutting, toasts, the blessing, and all of your main dances with the dancing between courses option. We can customize your schedule to fit your specific plans.

With 25 years of experience, we’ve performed a wide variety of schedules. We will give you various options that will help you get the perfect schedule. It can be as formal or as casual as you would like. You’ll get a free and designated expert MC for all announcements. We will make your entire wedding much better, not just amazing music!

IS DANCING BETWEEN COURSES
THE RIGHT SCHEDULE FOR YOUR WEDDING?

“We used the Dancing Between Courses schedule which really jump started our wedding. We did all our dancing right away and even got our guest up and dancing right away. David made it super easy. Our wedding was so organized and so much fun!!”

-Ken + Angela W.

HOW IT WORKS:

Dinner starts as soon as guests enter the room. It lasts 1-1/2 – 2 hours and includes:

  • Introductions of bridal party, bride + groom.
  • Toasts
  • Blessing over the meal
  • Cake Cutting
  • First Dance, Father/Daughter, Mother/Son Dances, Guests Dancing
    (dancing between courses schedule only)

The purpose of dinner is to perform the standard wedding traditions as well as the serving of the meal itself. It’s the business of your wedding. Dinner starts as soon as the doors to the ballroom are opened and your guests enter, not when food us served.

BIGGEST FACTORS THAT HELP OR HURT YOUR DINNER SCHEDULE:

  1. Getting all the guests inside the room quickly and the bridal party lined up.
  2. The amount/length of toasts.
  3. The speed of the food service.
  4. Creating a clear schedule.
  5. Emcee’s ability to understand the overall schedule and work with all your vendors.

RECOMMENDED ENSEMBLES FOR DINNER MUSIC:

  1. Jazz Trio (Piano, Bass + Sax)
  2. Solo Piano
  3. 8 or 11 Piece Orchestra (Dancing Between Courses)
  4. All Ensembles Include MC, DJ and Full Sound System.

HOW WE DO IT BETTER:

David and all our bandleaders are experts at handling all aspects of announcements and introductions, and working with you to design a schedule that will be perfect for your vision. He’ll work to make sure each activity during dinner is taken care of with the perfect music and announcements. He will make sure your vendors are ready before any announcements are made.  You'll get better photos, videos and food service. More importantly,  you can completely relaxed and enjoy your wedding!
