Grooming

There’s plenty going through your mind on your wedding day, so many things you don’t want to forget. So, I have created a checklist for you to reference on the day of your wedding so you can look almost as good as your soon-to-be wife! Let’s be real – she will be that star of the show. With that being said, as the groom, you need to look and feel your best on your big day too.

Get a massage

Massages are a great way to relax and take your mind off of any wedding day nerves you have. If you want a massage therapist to come to you you can reach out to local, independent therapists to see if they will do “house calls” or utilize those already registered through the Zeel app. Waking up and immediately receiving a massage will ensure you are starting your day on the right foot and will help you get in the best mental state possible. If you feel good, you will look good!

Style your hair

It’s best to plan out your hairstyle ahead of time for the wedding. Go to your barber in the days leading up to the big day for the haircut you want. It’s essential to make sure you have packed your go-to products to achieve the perfect style for the big day. You may need to practice the style a few times and that’s okay, just make sure you have it perfected by the time you’re set to say “I do.”

Shave

The most important part of shaving, is without a doubt, having the best razor and shaving accessories. Ensuring you have a new, sharp razor and high quality shaving products will help you achieve a close shave and a soft-feeling face. And if you have facial hair, you will be able to get sharp, clean lines along your beard or mustache. Plus, you will appreciate groomed facial hair when you receive all of those close-ups from your wedding photographer.

Teeth whitening

Good news for you! Whitening your teeth can now be a last-minute, day-of activity! Of course, you can use whitening toothpaste, strips, or even get a professional whitening in the months leading up to the big day. However, you can still see visible results with white strips after just one use! So, if it’s slipped your mind until now, feel free to throw on some strips for about 30 minutes while you’re getting ready, and your pearly whites will be glowing all day.

Moisturize

Something simple like moisturizing your face and hands shouldn’t be forgotten. Like your hair products, on the day of your wedding, stick with products you know and trust to avoid any surprise reactions. Having a high-quality, hydrating moisturizer will ensure your skin looks youthful and soft all day.

There you have it! I’m sure this checklist is much shorter than what your fiancé is dealing with but it’s important to take pride in your look. Taking time to care for yourself will help you exude confidence on the aisle and show appreciation for your bride.

Band was great. There was a wide variety of music and they really got everyone up and dancing. The musicians provided music for the wedding and the reception. The assembled guest even clapped for the musicians who played background music before the wedding started. I've never seen that before. I am the father of the bride, and while I expect the young people to be up dancing, my age group was as well. The wedding was at a Country Club and we were told by staff the next day that many members who were not part of the wedding chose to stay late and sit on the patio just to listen to the music. All were very talented musicians who really energized the wedding.
